Our Team

Hello, we are Monica and Debbie and together we are Treasure Talk. We have both been in education for over 30 years and previously worked together as a Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher at a Nursery School for 5 years. Our careers then took different paths. Monica is an Early Years Consultant specialising in all areas of Early Years education and Debbie has previously been a Nursery and Infant Headteacher, with a strong background in SEND. We both have extensive experience supporting practitioner professional development across local educational communities, including schools, private day nurseries, FE colleges and universities.

It’s a joy to reunite for ‘Treasure Talk’. Our diverse career journeys have equipped us with a rich tapestry of skills and experiences. We are thrilled to harness this collective knowledge in crafting engaging sessions.

Our approach is to develop strong relationships and create partnerships based on trust and a desire to allow children to embrace their curiosity and have lots of moments of awe and wonder along the way.

Hi I am Debbie. I am Mum to one
amazing grown up daughter, 2 dogs and my fabulous horse Rocky. When I am not working, I love being outside, come rain or shine. My happy place is riding my horse and spending time at the yard with friends. When I get the opportunity, I love to travel, relaxing in the sunshine whilst enjoying a good book, local food and a glass of something cold.

Hi I’m Monica. I’m a mom to two beautiful grown-up children and one gorgeous grandson. I love the great outdoors and can often be found walking in the
countryside enjoying nature. My mantra, less is more, I take with me wherever I go. Travelling to Ireland for two years with only what fitted into my car and backpacking across Asia have been truly enriching
experiences in my life.
